A short announcement and a huge step for the OpenID movement. Google, IBM, Microsoft, VeriSign, and Yahoo! have joined the board of OpenID Foundation. This certainly will expand the use of OpenID. That`s great! I am really happy what happend with OpenID. A year before I wrote an article “Online Identity, what is the choice?”, where I had some doubts that this good technology would be interpreted by the giants in different ways and they would not join behind OpenID. I am glad the future is so bright.

Iveta Vankova will take part on the grand final for 2007. She will represent Bulgaria. I have an intuition that this girl has a great future! I know her from my childhood. Ivetka and her family used to live in Lovech. My parents know her parents and sometimes we played together. Probably when there are so much fashion around you and so many competitives you should be aggressive and self confident. As I see it, she has cute innocent charm and is a nice person. I wish her all the best!

Today yahoo claimed that they accept OpenID. This is a big step for the OpenID movement. I would say it is a big step for yahoo, too. Now they are back in the game and will compete with google and microsoft as they will support OpenID.

Yahoo!’s OpenID service will be available in public beta on January 30th. Till than you can keep close look to http://openid.yahoo.com

Google just launched their new interface for the Docs & Spreadsheets. At first sight it looks like it would be easier to work with it. But then I was disappointed. One of the functions that I use really a lot is three clicks away in the new interface. I am talking about the preview button of the docs. I usually write down things connected with IT and network stuff. So I create one document but after that I have to check it again and again. In the old interface to preview a document was two clicks away. I really hoped that in the new one it would be only one.

When you pay less for hosting it is almost always a shared hosting plan. This means that your site and others, sometimes hundreds, are located on one server. Most of the services for reverse IP domain check are paid. However the http://www.myipneighbors.com/ is free and you can check who are your neighbors.

Ivan Nedialkov broke for seventh time his own record in Shivari. He broke 90 concrete blocks for 6 seconds and 86 hundreds at a show in Lovech. His last record at Smolensk in 2003, was 154 blocks for 10.7 seconds. The mayor of Lovech Mincho Kazandjiev was patron of the show and international judges like Petar Mageranov and Georgi Popov recorded the experiment. The record is going to be written down in the Guiness Book.

I use a lot of google services but it’s true I haven’t used Google Checkout till now. If you are from Bulgaria and try to buy something from it you will wonder why Bulgaria is not in the drop-down list. There are so many countries in that list and I was ashamed for the absence of my own. If you try to use google services like Google Apps for Your Domain, you have option to buy a custom domain through google checkout or to buy it on your own. The planet earth is deceased and we are the reason of that. The man kind with its ambitions. I wonder who will get out stronger the man or his goals? The movie below made me realize that I have to sacrifice something from me. I have to try to make the planet a better place. And it shouldn’t be just for a short time. We all have to change our minds and the least we can do is to try by our own efforts. We have this planet as a gift, but we owe it to our children.

Would you agree to be created a world wide Foundation, which to rebel on all human actions causing the Earth to suffer? Even if this foundation has to slow down the progress? But think about, isn’t it time to change the direction of this progress?
